Motorcycle Touring at it's Best. Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico offer some of the best motorcycle roads in the world! Your choice of glacier carved alpine tundra, warm desert breezes, mountain valleys or wide-open high plains.
Known for their high alpine
passes and extraordinary scenery. The true riding experience
of Colorado is found on it's lesser-known backroads. Thousands
of curves twisting over mountain passes and down rocky forested
valleys makes for superb riding. You'll ride fifteen mountain
passes and cross the Continental Divide six times. The smile never
leaves your face.
"After taking a nine-day Freedom Tours lap of the Rockies last summer, I can tell you they know their stuff." Bill Stermer, American Motorcyclist, February '97. Entire Article
The Land of Enchantment:
Across southern Colorado and into the vast open
highlands and mountains
of New Mexico. Through Indian reservations and the wild country
that gives this area its name. Two days in Santa Fe to explore,
ride, or kick back. Then back up into the high elevations of the
Colorado Rockies. Eight days of curvy roads, Native culture,
and scenery overload. It just may change your life!
Starts by crossing the mountains of central Colorado
then down into Utah. The Canyonlands, Escalante, Zion & Bryce
Canyons, Grand Canyon, into Monument Valley. The colors are changing
in the mountains and fall is in the air. There's more to this
tour than canyon roads. We'll stay in Durango, then up into the
mountains on some of Colorado's finest backroads. Twelve days
of delightful mountain twisties and grand vistas.
Rather travel on your own or with your friends? Take advantage
of our intimate knowledge of the area and let us help you plan your own perfect
tour. It will start and end where you want and adjusted to the
number of days you'd like to plan. We'll consider your interests and recommend
several possible routes with their own particular advantages. You choose
which you like best and we'll write up daily route sheets, provide you with
hotel contacts, a listing of our favorite recommended stops, restaurants and, of
course all the "don't miss" attractions that will make your trip
memorable.
