Miles and miles
of twisty roads nearly devoid of traffic. Too many curves to
count. Quiet little towns with friendly people.
Delicious food with local ambiance in out of the way places. Scenery
that others only hope to find. The rich history
of mining, Indians and outlaws is explained by your guides along
with tales and legends of local history. A cozy room is always
waiting at the end of the day. This is the way to enjoy Colorado!
"There's a serenity, a tranquility found riding in the forest domain. The woodsy smells and temperature changes, engine reverberations, the sounds of running water flowing over boulders - all make for a memorable journey." Bill Stoughton, Rider Magazine, April '95. entire article

Our route and lodging
are designed to provide you with the best motorcycle experience
possible. You'll spend most evenings in small mountain towns with
one thing in common: a great local ambiance and good feeling of
Old Colorado.
You'll stay in charming towns like Ouray, known as "Little Switzerland". Look up, you'll see rock cliffs all around and the switchbacks of Red Mountain Pass and the "Million Dollar Highway".
An overnight in Lake City is just what you expect at an elevation of 9,000' nestled in the mountains. Lake City is very much like it was in 1876, when miners came to the area looking for gold.
Our modern mountain cabins in the Crystal River Canyon will delight you. A beautiful quiet place where you can sit in the hot tub, listen to the river sounds and gaze at the starry skies.
Our one "city"
overnight is in Grand Junction. We are just a few miles from the
western deserts of Utah and the scenery is like a cowboy movie
with red sandstone cliffs blazing in the bright sunshine. We'll
take an evening ride to a secret place where you'll enjoy an outdoor
dinner like you've never had before. Indian flute music drifts
through the Pinon trees (compliments of your tour guide) while
you savor your meal and watch the sun set on the crimson canyon
cliffs.
Two nights are spent in Durango where the lively sounds of the steam train welcome you to the previous century and the music of ragtime piano spills out from hundred year old saloons. Your free day can be spent riding the narrow gauge steam train, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, shopping Durango's unique shops, exploring the Anasazi Cliff Dwellings at Mesa Verde, or trying your luck at the nearby Ute Indian Casino. Whatever your choice, we'll provide you with information, maps and help with reservations.
As a motorcyclist,
you're interested in the roads. How good are they? The
best in the world! You'll ride 15 mountain passes
crossing the Continental Divide 6 times!
Colorado can't be explained - only experienced. Come and see for yourself.
